The Little Prince

If we see the little prince as a men, then the little fox and rose are the two women who love him.

When i read the Little Prince for the first time,  i was impressed by his obsessive love for rose and confused by the choice of the little fox.

Later, when i was grow up, i began to like the clever little fox.

Rose is beautiful and capricious, even to know the little prince earlier than fox.  The little prince fall in love with the rose when he didn’t know what is love.

The little fox is intelligence and mature,  she taught the little prince what is love. However, when she got his love, she gave up.

When the little prince was in love with the rose on the other planet, the little fox looked at the golden wheat fields on the earth and live in the world of her own love. There is no doubt that the little prince and the rose are happy, but how about the little fox? I believe, they three are all happy.

Most of people like the little fox, because she make people feel pity. She was let him to tame her when in case she knowing that the little prince love the rose.

Sadness has a hidden power. It feels the same as why people already know it is a tragedy, but also to read it and then stay longer in heart. Sadness is beautiful, it combine both happiness and distressed. The little fox’s love let people feel sad.

“Then it has done you no good at all!”

“It has done me good,” said the fox, “because of the color of the wheat fields.”

One day

The 20 years of waiting is Emma’s special love for Dexter.

The temporal all have the love yet many of it have chance but not be. Emma’s love follow the heart and proceed without hesitation. Her desire for love is mixed with her self-esteem, she bear the pain all alone when she realized that she can not get his love. Emma tried but failed, because Dexter is adrift and did not know how to cherish. When we are young, we even can not know ourselves and miss a lot which can not to make up for it. However, waiting and cherish is a stark barrier between men and women.

To be frank, in a young age, frivolous and carefree is the norm, but affection to deep is an accident. In the backup story, it is not the person who I love doesn’t love me, but the person who I love do not understand love.

In the end,  Emma’s accident let me feel too deliberate, but when i began savoring, i think the author’s cruelty is the best annotation for the real.

The Catcher in the Rye

In the novel, The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger,

the main character Holden Caulfield has many different kinds of relationship with different people.

Some of them are very important for Holden’s life because he likes and admires them;

Holden also hates some of the people he has relationship with.

Everyone who has a relationship with Holden affects him which shows Holden’s personality.

The novel uses Holden’s relationship with his siblings Phoebe, D.B., and Allie to show different parts of Holden’s character.

From the point of subject, like all young men, the hero is a liberal person,

but he doesn’t handle their own problems, at the same time, he was also confused,

he don’t know their future. Perhaps everyone in a teenager have encountered similar problems,

when we are at that time we often not to talk about own confusion,

so we may enter a wrong way,bringing harm to myself.

So after finished reading this book, I realize the importance of mental health,

when we meet with difficulties, we should actively to face,

and efforts to solve every problem,can’t give up myself,we must have the courage to face the reality.

Norwegian Wood

Twenty may be the best age in all of the life,

it may be a surprise in our early time, or a sad with some sweet feeling.

Sometimes, we want to understand,

to talk all of the story, which is belongs to ourselves or others,

but we have to give it up in the end after a hard struggle,

as you find it is too clear and complex to begins.

So we are lucky, as there is a band named Beatles, there is a writer called Haruki Murakami.

who have wrote a story named “Norwegian Wood”, and shared with us.

Through that calm soothing words, we saw a young age specific sadness and passion,

we hear these words what we always wanted to say,

those Age of Innocence – Love Story.

It was in the aircraft cabin,

37-year old Watanabe heard the Beatles song “Norwegian Wood”,

then he was plunged into the past suddenly.

Without any words, music have combined with our life,

and appeared in undefended, affecting the mind a slight pain.

Even after eighteen years of vicissitudes, the age of 20 is still vivid scenery as yesterday.

Watanabe still keenly remembered the meadow, still remember those past stories.

the air in story was always filled with the fragrance of youth breath.

When in love, we all have a similar experience,

there will be joy and sweet, sometimes we feel sad and confused.

We may laugh smugness manners, we feel dissatisfied,

as a loss guy, find it difficult to communicating with the outside world,

those names -Watanabe, Naoko, , wooden month, Nagasawa, Rion,

they are not just characters in the book, they are still our shadows,

it have her figure, have him, have yours, of course, have mine.

The Gone Girl

Well… a simple question: Dose Amy and Nick love each other?

A women who set her husband up and just want to sent him to jail and a men who always treat her husband with cold violence for a long time and cheating with a young girl, even always unable to control his desire to strangle his wife, is it possible that the couple are in love?

Yes, they are close, intelligence and even have the same density of darkness in the deep heart. In the battle of marriage, they must love each other. However, in the premise of this kind of love is mutual slaughter. Maybe we looking for a long time is only aims to find a  better matched rival. Only in this kind of power equivalent battle can inspire their enthusiasm to the life and becoming a living, breathing human.

Sometimes, love is a kind of violence. In this world,  is there a group of people is suitable for insipid love, while others are determined to have bloody love. They are keep hurting each other, calculation and frame is the evidence and expression of their love, like Amy and Nick.

I am not going to promote this kind of distorted love view, but the humanity itself is contradiction and complex. In the center of the fear, they hate each other to the extreme and even want to kill each other, but they at the same time love each other to the extreme.

Yes, except you, who can accompany me to engage in a battle so far? Except you, who is my opponent? How lonely would i feel in the world without you. As Nick often ask himself, ” Without you, who am i”?

The Shadow Thief

The Shadow Thief is a kind of adult fairy tale which about gaining and losing, growth and understand.

It tells the story of a boy who grows up with a special gift: He can steal other people’s shadows – and the shadows confide secrets in him. But this book is not a fantasy novel. The author did not use the boy’s special ability as an important means to promote the development of the story. Instead, he told us that as long as we care about others and try your best to help friends when they are in trouble, even if you do not have the skill of stealing shadow, you can also walk into someone else’s heart and get their trust.

I think the author’s description of the family is aims to show us about the beauty of defects, the boy is too entangled with what he has lost and do not cherish what he already have. His father’s left make him heart broke, but he often ignored his mother’s deep love. He knows many secret and helped many people, but he did not understand his mother’s heart.

Love is the highlight in this story. When he gave up a girl who are matched in all aspects to him and then to chase a childhood dream and no longer worried about gain and loss, he finally understand the true meaning of love. Your true love is the person who is full of uncertainty, but let you give up everything that you purchase. No matter how many years have passed, no matter what you have become, even if all the scenery have changed, I still like you most.

The Kite Runner – About friendship

As this is my first blog, i will recommend one of my most favorite book to you – the Kite Runner.

It tells the story of a young boy Amir,

whose closest friend is Hassan, his father’s servant’s son.

To be frank, i am not interested in history and war of Afghanistan.

For me, the people there are poor and the government are incompetent,

so when i read this story i was not ready for a picture that

with calm and tranquil,a land fragrant with flowers,

the scent of Mutton shashlik full of the whole street

and even did not expect the children there can also be carefree chasing kites.

When the images that master Amir and his servant Hassan enjoy brotherly relationships appeared,

i think all readers will moved by their pure, deep and long lasting friendship.

They always walk side by side,

whenever Amir was bullied, Hassan always protect him without hesitation.

However, “the Prince and the Pauper” can not be brothers,

because they are destined to unequal.

When Amir see Hassan bullied by older children or even obscene,

he chose silence and escape.

Such a tragic result is not only caused by the individual differences,

these child have been imbued with a “should” and “should not” which corresponding to their social status,

a servant should give priority to fight and master is not worth any risk for a vile servant.

In front of the cruel reality,when friendship faces challenges,

 as long as there is one party vacillate, the bridge of friendship will inevitably collapse.
